Sources of Inquiry Practices:

Throughout the unit, From Cells to Organs, students will be subjected to sources of inquiry where students will:

• Participate in activities that investigate and analyze scientific questions
• Use processing skills in context
• Use multiple processing skills by way of manipulation, cognitive, and procedural
• View science as argument and explanation
• Communicate science explanations
• Conduct investigations in order to develop understanding, ability, values of inquiry and knowledge of science content
• Apply the results of experiments to scientific arguments and explanations
• Manage ideas and information
• Participate in public communication of student ideas and work to classmates (and teacher)
